GREETINGS TO THE 5TH CONGRESS OF THE PCM

Dear Comrades :

Thank you for the kind invitation for our party to send a representative to the 5th Congress of the PCM to be held in the City of Oaxaca from September 13 to 15, 2014. We regret that we are unable to send a representative to your 5th Congress. However, through you, the Partido Komunista ng Pilipinas (PKP-1930, the Philippine Communist Party) sends warmest comradely greetings to all the delegates of your 5th Congress.

We note that your 5th Congress will be held under the militant slogan : “Socialist Revolution --- the  immediate task of the working class”. We salute you for setting this task for the Mexican working class, even in the face of the constant attempts of US imperialism to impose neocolonial conditions on Mexico.

We wish every success to your 5th Congress, and further wish greater strength to the new Central Committee to be elected at this congress. Finally, we hope to forge closer fraternal relations between our two parties, in the spirit of proletarian internationalism and the common worldwide struggle for an end to imperialism --- for peace, freedom and socialism.

                                                                                                With communist greetings,

                                                                                                ANTONIO E. PARIS
                                                                                                General Secretary
